Elementary Art Class (4/4-5/16)

Tina Mangos is a retired art teacher with decades of experience in the arts and education.  Her brain-based method of teaching and her unique projects focus on problem solving, creativity, and skill building.  Classwork is based on traditional principles of art that include color theory, composition, and drawing figures, perspective, still life, and design.  Students progress at their own level in an organized step-by-step process.  Group discussions and critiques support the art activities.  Materials will vary in each session--oil pastels, mixed media, collage, watercolors, tempera, canvas, colored pencils, pen & ink, etc.  

The cost of this 7-week class is $85, and all materials are included in the fee. Due to the move to the new library building, the possibility exists that some of the classes in this series may be held at the instructor's studio, located at Keystone and Main in Carmel.
