¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español! Welcome to Spanish class! This intermediate conversational Spanish class is for students who have had several beginner Spanish classes or have done extensive self study.
Class will focus on the most common and high frequency words in Spanish. We will play games, write stories and have guided conversation all in Spanish. The activities are often silly and include student generated content to make them engaging and memorable. The teaching style is gentle, kind, and encouraging. Sudents' responses are rephrased in correct Spanish as a form of gentle correction. Research shows the less stressed students are the better they learn another language!
Class will be taught in Spanish with tons of pictures, gestures and some English when necessary. English is welcome in the chat. Vocabulary and necessary phrases will be given at the beginning of class to maximize meaningful conversation during class. Weekly topics will rotate.
