Embroidery for Beginners 1, Session D
Program Description
Event Details
Does your student want to learn hand embroidery? Join a two-day workshop for beginners with Ms. Katie! During our four hours together, we will complete a beautiful stitch sampler, where your student will learn 7 embroidery stitches! They will also become proficient at threading a needle and tying knots. Your student will then finish by learning how to back their hoop in a clean way.
Your learner is ready for this workshop if:
-
They are between the ages of 10-16 with good hand eye coordination and fine motor control.
-
They understand that a hobby like embroidery is a nice relaxing tool to have and our environment will be calm - we will chat and put some relaxing music on in a small supportive environment.
