Join us for a fun-filled day of learning about our past. You can take a Genealogy Workshop, view local artists, play vintage board games, listen to great musicians, and more!

10:15 AM or 11:30 AM - Start with listening to speaker Nancy Massey, County Genealogist discuss Genealogy 101, then use the library's resources to build your own family tree. 

10:15 AM or 11:15 AM - Dagny Villegas will show us how to take full advantage of Ancestry Library Edition, the free library version of Ancestry.com. You will learn how to execute searches and discover some great time-saving tips and tricks. Dagny has been a Librarian with the Indiana State Library's Genealogy Division since 2019.

10:15 AM or 11:15 AM - Join Sarah Pfundstein, Genealogy Librarian, Indiana State Library, as she provides an overview of the many resources that are available at the Indiana State Library, Genealogy, Indiana, Reference and Document Collections to find your Military Ancestors. Before coming to Indiana, Sarah worked at George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate in Virginia.
