Come and learn about amateur radio, also known as ham radio!  Beginning in the 1890s, ham radio communication has allowed telegraphers to communicate using their own interconnected telegraphic systems. Now, ham radio allows users to communicate over long distances without the internet or cell towers. Amateur radio is a fantastic life long hobby and can be useful in the event of emergencies. Learn how you can become a ham radio operator!

This program is presented by a local Ham Radio Club: N9BCN

"Welcome to Piglet Radio N9B(a)C(o)N! The Piglets is an online and local social Amateur Radio Club in central Indiana with like minded crew of operators that love to have fun with radio. Be it assembling kits, learning CW, or enjoying Parks on the Air!

Currently we offer free online information sharing via the forums and our discord as well as group POTA days. We are a new club planning on doing events such as kit building days with filters, fox hunting, group contesting, and especially Parks on the Air."
