Event Details

Grammar lays the groundwork for constructive communication, and the analytical study of grammar is the foundational “why” underlying the “how” of its practical usage. Using a systematic approach, each unit of the Analytical Grammar curriculum effectively builds on the previous lessons without needless repetition. This 24-week grammar course (with Zoom backup) for students in grades 4-6 covers the following aspects of grammar:

• All the parts of speech, five sentence patterns, and parts of a sentence • Classic sentence diagramming • Six comma rules • Capitalization • Titles, dialogue, quotations, and possessives • Usage units on agreements and word choice.  For more details, please see the first attachment located to the right.
