Event Details

In this 4-class unit study, we will celebrate Women’s History Month by learning about prominent women of the past and present. Each class will have two parts. Part one will consist of being introduced to six influential women. Your student will learn her history and importance. Part two will consist of taking a deeper dive into one of the women, while completing a hands-on project. To aid in your student’s completion of each project, we will utilize library biography books during part two.

Weekly Themes:

Week One: STEM

Week Two: Entertainment

Week Three: “Firsts”

Week Four: Children and Young Women

Class Details: 

Ages 10-15
