Name your trump and get ready to roll as we bring back Euchre at the Westfield Washington Public Library. All comers are welcome whether you grew up in Indiana playing the game or are new to the area and to Euchre. Meeting every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.Primarily focusing on narrative and report writing with enhanced sentence structure and style, this 24-week writing class (with Zoom backup) is designed for students in grades 4-6.
This class for students in 4th through 6th grades runs from January 17 to May 2, and consists of 12 sessions leading up to the Biz Town on-site visit on Thursday, April 27, with one debriefing class following the event.
Grammar lays the groundwork for constructive communication, and the analytical study of grammar is the foundational “why” underlying the “how” of its practical usage.
American Mahjong
Mahjong, a game that originated in China, is commonly played by four players. Similar to the Western card game rummy, mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation and involves a degree of chance. Join other players here at the library for a game, or just observe if you are interested in learning how to play.This group meets every Tuesday Evening from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Bring your own ukulele and join the fun of a Strum-Along Song-Circle with the Westfield Ukulele Circle. Beginners are always welcome to attend.
