Event Details

January theme: Geology and Petrology

Petrology is the scientific study of rocks that deals with their composition, texture, and structure; their occurrence and distribution; and their origin in relation to physicochemical conditions and geologic processes. It is concerned with all three major types of rocks—igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary. We'll look at a variety of samples and each participate will receive their own sample box to take home!

 

An introduction to STEM concepts through crafts, games, and other activities designed for first, second, and third graders.

MakerSpace 123 meets on the fourth Wednesday at 5:00 PM in the Maker Space (formerly the Craft Room).

Registration is required so that we can ensure adequate supply levels!
