*PLEASE NOTE:  BEGINNING IN JANUARY, THIS CLASS WILL MEET FROM 10:30 TO 11:30*

Aimed toward grades 8-10 and up, the 30-week advanced IEW class helps prepare students for writing at the university level. Most of our weekly writing assignments range from one to three paragraphs; you may expect 3-5 hours of homework each week. Students engage in abundant group in-class preparation for individual written work. Students will construct several 5- paragraph compositions, perhaps one longer “super essay” composition, and potentially an independent research project toward the end of the year. This graded class counts as 1 high school credit.  For more details, please see the attachments to the right.

The cost of the class is $117 per 6-week session, plus one-time non-refundable $15 fee due with first payment.  Please see the 2nd attachment for complete details, required purchases, and payment info.
